This year’s Globes was a great one starting off with a very funny monologue opening from the hosts Tina & Amy; knowing that they’re not hosting again they begin tackling stuff from George Clooney ,Joaquin Phoenix to Bill Cosby plus poking a little fun and the Sony hack. Gina Rodriguez from Jane the Virgin was nominated for the first time ever at the globes and took home the award for Best Actress in TV Series, Musical or Comedy. The artist still known as Prince took to the stage and presented the award for Best Original Song, Motion Picture to Common and John Legend’s “Glory” for the film Selma. One of my favorite animated movies this year How to train your dragon 2 won Best Animated Feature Film (which was well deserved to me). George Clooney took to the stage to accept the incredible honor of the Cecil B. DeMille Award and gushed about how he was humbled to find his lifelong partner Amal Clooney. When Michael Keaton won the award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical for his work on Birdman he thanked his son, family, co-stars and crew he teared up while putting in a few air quote witch are the two things he said he wouldn’t do. And the biggest awards of the night went to The Grand Budapest Hotel, for Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy, and Boyhood, for Best Motion Picture, Drama. Over all the show was great congrats to all of the winners.
