Zac Posen

With insparation like the elegance of Grace Kelly and the fierceness of Chaka Khan, Zac Posen show had a lot of 70’s vibe to it. It was were glamour meets attitude and came out with this jeweled toned collection. Shades of plum, burgundy, green, and oxblood-orange were the color choices for the collection . Some detailing like shoulder draping, patterned waist cutouts, beading, and sequine made the lineup pop with energy. The pieces included pencil skirts, cashmere coat, cardigan, trouser, a draped skirt, and one Ball-gown worn by Naomi Campbell in metallic ruby red-closing the show.

Donna Karan

Donna Karan will never let you forget how much she loves New York. The fall 2015 Donna Karan collection was tailored to perfection, very chic and sophisticated. The theme was the New York skyline at night, the windows was aglow with golden light of the city that never sleeps. Her lineup showed blazers, leather bomber, padded coats, and other variations of outerwear that were belted at the midriff. under the outerwear were pieces like tapered trousers, narrow flannel-and-chiffon skirt, and poplin shirt to complete the stylish working woman in the city.

Tommy Hilfiger

and its a touch down for Hilfiger’s fall 2015 collection with its football and love story mixer theme. To me it reads more college football then pro but it still made an excellent score on the runway. He wanted to merge all the things he love from the game of football to witch he has always been inspired by the uniforms, game, and the energy that it gives off. Mixing sport with luxury the collection and its 70’s preppy fell consisted of faux-fur stadium jackets, cashmere ponchos, athletic stripes, bouclé plaids, mohair varsity sweaters and kick-pleat skirts. this would a great collection to go to for those hanging out with friends at a cool bar party type of thing.

Carolina Herrera

always showing decadence elegance Carolina’s Fall 2015 collection she went for a abstract water theme. she goes on record saying  “Everything you see here is making waves” giving the collection a continent flow to it. Expressing ripples and waves in prints, appliqués, and hand-painted effects gave a good 3-D illusion to the lineup. Her color palletes focused on the many shades of the ocean from being shallow near the shore to the deep blue seas.
